Every city needs a framework through which it can evolve and grow.
Our priority group, Shaping the City, works with key individuals and stakeholders within the city, to create and influence a positive strategic framework for growth in Sheffield. We focus on day to day and longer term opportunities and challenges, working with Sheffield City Council and other public, private and third sector partners to remove obstacles to development and to secure high quality spaces and places for residents, businesses and visitors.

At the core of the S-PA, is our work on several key initiatives to promote the city to investors, developers, occupiers and future residents.
We are doing this through showcasing the positives of the city, leading on research work and providing insights into Sheffield. Alongside our own initiatives, we are working collaboratively with other partners across the region to deliver a variety of projects which place a spotlight on the city, nationally and internationally.

The EDI group brings forward events, research and communication initiatives focussed on ensuring that the S-PA reflects a diverse and inclusive mindset and culture, representative of the diverse city we work in. We also aim to share EDI best practice, highlight EDI issues affecting the property sector, raise the profile of local community and interest groups, and consider the EDI-related impacts of the city's major regeneration projects. We are always looking for new members and voices, particularly from marginalised or diverse communities, so please get in touch if you would like to get involved.
