Claire Mayfield-Tulip appointed as new Director

The Sheffield Property Association (S-PA) has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Claire Mayfield-Tulip as a Director of the organisation.

A highly respected figure within the South Yorkshire property sector, Claire brings more than 25 years of legal and operational experience to the board, alongside an extensive network across the region's development, investment and business communities.

Having moved to Sheffield as a student, Claire has built her entire professional career in the city and has remained committed to supporting its growth and development. Throughout her legal career, she has worked with a number of leading firms while remaining headquartered in Sheffield, advising predominantly SME developers operating across both the residential and commercial property sectors throughout South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

Alongside her role as Director and Head of Operations Real Estate at Sheffield legal firm BRM, Claire also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Sheffield Technology Parks. Her appointment to the S-PA board further strengthens the organisation's commitment to bringing together senior industry expertise to help shape the future of Sheffield City Region.

Speaking about her appointment, Claire Mayfield-Tulip said: "I wanted to join the S-PA board because I am passionate about supporting the advancement of Sheffield City Region and helping it become the very best version of itself.

"I believe collaboration across the public and private sectors is essential if we are to deliver meaningful change, support sustainable development and create greater economic growth and prosperity across the city and wider region.

"My ambition is to help raise Sheffield and South Yorkshire's profile nationally while supporting the delivery of projects and initiatives that will benefit both current residents and future generations."

The Sheffield Property Association plays a leading role in championing the built environment sector across Sheffield and South Yorkshire, bringing together professionals from across property, development, construction, investment and related industries to support growth, investment and regeneration throughout the region.

Claire's appointment comes at a pivotal time for Sheffield and South Yorkshire, with significant opportunities emerging across housing, commercial development, infrastructure and innovation-led regeneration. Her experience working alongside local developers and businesses, combined with her long-standing commitment to the region, will add valuable insight to the association's strategic direction and advocacy work.
